C H I N E S E - R A C E

CHARACTERISTICS



This race was the first introduced race on Silkroad Online.

Chinese Race are made for solo playing, because its "easy" lvling self without help.
Their system is based on fast attacks, regular defenses and fast recovery.
Chinese Class are defined based on weapons used in combat.
Unlike the Europe Race, their attack is not focused on heavy damage rather than damage over time.

They are a Strong Race.
They get much more powerful when they make party with the Europen Characters (To get Buffed).
With theses "Buffs" they become a very large and complicated task for the opponent.


The Chinese Race are made on 2 Main Mastery Categories
Weapon: Considered Physical Damage
Force: Considered Magical Damage


There are 3 Main Class Masterys
°Bicheon °Heuksal °Pacheon

There are 5 Weapons & Shield
°Sword °Blade °Glavie °Spear °Bow °Shield

There are 4 Main Forces Masterys
°Ice °Thunder °Fire °Force

STR & INT STAT POINTS



After each level up, each character gains 3 Stat Points
When pressing the 'c' button, you can see you have the "HP" and "MP" stats and a plus sign.

You can use the points to increase either your STR that affects.
You can use the points to increase either your INT that affects.


Both of them having their own "advantages" and "disadvantages".

Pure INT have a small amount of health and are usually killed easily.
However they damage the most using magical damage and kill many other players/monsters in a single hit.
Pure INT are always the ones that get the price for Large or Unique monsters.

Pure STR can cause a lot of physical damage and they have good defense, especially these ones have lot of health.
However, they lack mana and cannot use a lot of skills.
Pure STR have enough HP to take a Giant Monster alone.

Many players add some points to each of the stats to make a Hybrid.
Pure characters add all their points to only one of the stats.


Although the Hybrid can not be devalued Character.
Because a character with a perfect distribution of Stat Points.
Becoming as good as a Pure INT or STR Characters.

Hybrid Character is the mixture of INT and STR.
Giving them characteristics of both character class.


Hybrids are the true utility characters.
Hybrids kill fairly well in PvE and use less pots than pure chars.
They are good at all jobs and can have a very diverse skill set.
They are decentPvP charactrers.


BEING A "HYBRID" IS ALL ABOUT BALANCE STATS
That means your character's physical and magical balances are the "KEY" to be a good "Hybrid" Character.

We call it "build" when you choose then what class to be.

"Mastery Points"
Can unlock skills and enable you to use equipment and weapons considering your level.
You get 3 Mastery Points each time you reach new level.

The Chinese Char at maximum level 80, has 240 Mastery Points.
So we know that we can add 3 Class Masterys up to level 80 of the 7 existing Masterys.


Each Class can be PURE STR, PURE INT or Hybrid

H E U K S A L | C L A S S - M A S T E R Y
This style focuses on Heavy Damage and "AeO" attacks.
Usable Equipment: Glaive and Spear.
Also you can make the called "Weapon Switch" to the "Shield" while you are not attacking.
Especially the enemy's damage will be much lower while you are using the shield.
They can be Full STR, Full INT or Hybrids.

B I C H E O N | C L A S S - M A S T E R Y
This style focuses on Fast Comboes and Big Defense and High Blocking Rate.
Usable Equipment: Sword, Blade, Shield.
They can be Full STR, Full INT or Hybrid.

P A C H E O N | C L A S S - M A S T E R Y
This style focuses on Fast Arrow Combos, Ranged attacks and Critical chances.
Usable Equipment: Bow and Arrows.
Also you can make the called "Weapon Switch"(quick change between your weapons) to the "Shield" while you are not attacking.
Especially the enemy's damage will be much lower while you are using the shield.
They can be Full STR, Full INT or Hybrids.

This mastery focuses on increasing defenses toward Physical Damage.
And causing Freeze and Frostbite Status.
Cold get the most High Defence "SkillBuff" the "Snow Shield"

T H U N D E R
M A S T E R Y

This mastery focuses on increasing Magical Damage.
Increase the Hit Ratio(on self), decreasing Parry Ratio(on target) and Inflicting Shock Status.
Lightning is the only mastery who have his "own buff" to increase the "Moving Speed".

F I R E
M A S T E R Y

The "Imbue" of this Mastery is more powerfull compared to other masteries.
This mastery focuses on increasing Physical Damage.
Preventing Status Effects, inflicting the Burn status and increasing Magical Defences.
Fire is the only mastery who have the "SkillBuff" to detect hidden players.

F O R C E
M A S T E R Y

This mastery focuses on healing and debuffs.
This includes Revival, HP healing, Status Cure.
Force is just the one Chinese Mastery who can "debuff" other players.
Force mastery also is the mastery who got a passive that increase your "MP/INT".

The Choice Is Your - Possibilities

And remember each "build" presents a different level of difficulty.
These Masterys will differ from player to player.
It will differentiate the likes of being more "Melee" or "Caster" or "De-Buffer/Buffer"

WHAT IS THAT?



Is a Active-Skill used by all Chinese characters.
You have to use these "Imbue" before any Attack-Skill.
Because the "Imbue" will improve your attacks independent if they are Magical or Physical Attacks.

How Many Are There??

Fire Imbue at Fire Mastery
The Fire Imbue is the most strongest of all the Imbues.
With a "DOT"(damage over time) burn status effect.

Thunder Imbue at Lightning Mastery
The Lightning Imbue is the 2nd strongest imbue with a Parry Ratio Reduce to opponent.
Lightning also splashes to monsters doing only slight damage which will agro the mobs.
Lightning Imbue has more variation in damage output.
It can hit close to the damage of fire, and as low as ice.

Ice Imbue at Cold Mastery
The Ice Imbue is the most weakest Imbue with 2 status effects, Frost and Freeze.
Frost Status - Slows down opponents attack speed.
Freeze Status - Cancels and stops the opponents’ attack/movement for a set amount of time.

Facts of Imbue's Importance
Each "Imbue" has a quality, which means and we can not be considered that fire is the best.

P. V. P. - F A C T S
It is very easy to become immune to a status effect.
If your opponent is not immune he can use special pills which remove the effect almost instantly.
Because of this we would not take status affect into consideration when thinking of PVP, except maybe if Ice Imbue.
When fighting with a person who is not immune to "Ice" you will annoy the crap out of them and waste their pills.
If they are out of pills, a possible defeat will happen.

I M B U E & G R I N D I N G - F A C T S
While grinding "Ice Imbue" allows you to save pots and for INT Characters you could potentially grind on a higher level mob without dying.
"Thunder Imbue" agros mobs which may be ideal for STR Characters, but can mean accidental deaths for INT´s.
"Fire Imbue" burns over time which helps kill giants faster and overall is the most powerful imbue.

"POWERFUL IMBUE" NOT MEAN "THE BEST"

Because it has high physical defense.

Garment is better verses INT builds the Magical builds like: Spear - Sword - Wizzards - Warlocks - Clerics.
Because it has High Magical Defense.

PROTECTOR - EQUIPMENT

Protector basically is between Armor and Garment, it will depends on your "play-style build".
If you're going to be a "Tank-Player" don't use it.

The "Necklace" is the "Accessory" who has the "High Absorption" from all the Accessories.
Normaly the last tear of this item is hard to obtain because he is considered "Rare".

The "Earing" is the "Accessory" who has the "Medium Absorption" from all the Accessories.

The "Ring" is the "Accessory" who has the "Low Absorption" from all the Accessories.
Your character will use "Two Rings".

They Are Important?



Yes, they are to much important, in the process of creating your character.

Not all players will focus "first" on getting the "best" Accessories.
Because some players will give priority to getting a "High Plus Weapon" or "Last Tear Equipment" first.

We are all free to focus on which items to get first.

But these items the "Accessories" will "Absorb" the "Physical" and "Magical" demage while you making P.V.P or P.V.E.
With this fact, it becomes a great priority to get some good Accessories as soon as possible.

CHARACTERISTICS



The Euro Race has a Unique hidering feature.

Their "Potion Cooldown" is set to a fixed rate of 15 seconds,
while the cooldown for the Chinese Race is of 1 second.
"GRAIN POTION" Special Preference of this Race.

This race focuses on "Heavy Damage".
When they form a party in a combat and complement each other they get much more powerful.
They can beat an enemy who's ordinarily several times stronger than them.

This mastery focuses on Heavy Magical Damage and Elemental Statuses.
This mastery relies on almost no Defense in exchange of increasing the Damage Dealt.

This mastery focuses on Indirect Damage.
Aside of direct attacks (Magical Damage), most of their attacks inflict Status Effects.
Warlock focuses on using Short Staff and Shield to maximize their oportunities of survival.

This mastery focuses on buffs, and dealing MP drains.

Can "unlock skills" and "enable" you to use "Equipment" and "Weapons" considering your "level".
